Descrizione
Keeping things classic yet lightweight and comfortably formed for the beginner bassist, the Fazley Piranha 4 bass guitar features a solid P-style basswood body and the familiar punch of a split-single coil pickup. The choice of basswood doesn't just reduce the load but lays down a full mid-range and enhanced note definition while the solid bolt-on Canadian maple neck adds a touch of bite. The neck has been roasted, reducing the moisture content in the wood to increase density and prevent warping, which here, combines with a high-grade Graph Tech TUSQ nut to enhance resonance, and since the neck also boasts the lighter feel of a modern C-profile and a set of twenty-one medium-jumbo frets, the playability is also on point. Plugged in, the split-single coil pickup delivers balanced sound that can be tweaked to taste via the fitted tone and volume pots, and so your new four-string can be safely toted to lessons, rehearsals and gigs, it comes pre-wrapped in a form-fitting gig bag.

Net binnengekregen en uitgepakt. Ongelofelijk licht en mooi afgewerkt voor zo'n lage prijs. Eerste indruk van het geluid is goed, de D-snaar klonk raar gedempt, ik was even bang dat er iets ernstigs niet in orde was, maar nadat ik er een standaard Fender set op had gezet was het geluid van de hele bas meteen nog een stuk beter. Hij klinkt mooi helder en diep en de hals is minder lomp dan ik had verwacht (ik speel normaal een Fender Jazz).
Heb er nu een half uurtje op staan bassen en ben erg blij met deze bas, goed om te rocken en klinkt mooi 'rond'.
